2012 Stocks Stakes Won By Oasis Bloom – Race Results

September 21st, 2012

Oasis Bloom has won the 2012 WH Stocks Stakes at Moonee Valley Racecourse last Saturday September 15, 2012.

The four-year-old won the race by a head in front of Spirit Song, who placed second, and Chateau Margaux, who finished in third.

Avienus put aside her top weight to finish home in a gallant fourth in the 2012 Stocks Stakes.

Oasis Bloom’s co-trainer was thrilled by the effort put in my jockey Glen Boss aboard the mare in the 2012 Stocks Stakes.

“He’s a real asset. He’s one of the best track riders going round,” Morgan said.

Boss posted a treble at Moonee Valley last Saturday and couldn’t hide his jubilation after his 2012 Stocks Stakes win aboard Oasis Bloom.

”Today is officially the first day of the carnival, I think it’s the unofficial first day of the spring, all the good horses, you know where they are going from this point so I am glad to be firing on the right day,” Boss said.

Oasis Bloom has now won two of her five race starts and warned more than $200,000 in prize money.
